Reecie Montana was born and raised on the Northside of Jacksonville Florida. His rap moniker “Reecie” originates from his middle name, which also is the same name as his grandfather. This name was given to him at birth in hopes of him becoming a better person than his father. Before Reecie was born, his father was addicted to drugs and heavily involved into criminal activity.
As a adolescent Reecie was exposed to a lifestyle beyond his years. After experiencing so many things most youth are fortunate enough to avoid, instead of that being a hindrance, Reecie stated “I use my experiences as motivation, plus it’s part of my story. I know when I talk about certain things that most people will relate.”
In 2018, shortly after graduating High School, Reecie became popular in the streets by using Instagram snippets and releasing his single “Ambulance.” Which landed him the opportunity to open up for Chief Keef. (Known for his fiery punchlines, unique cadence, and intriguing personality.) Reecie’s highly anticipated Debut Mixtape “E11EVEN” is set for release November 29th 2020 on ALL platforms.
